Frederick W. Powell is the Technical and Design Principal and a founding partner of CPCArchitects Office located in San Diego, California. Fred has his BFA from
Colorado College and his Masters of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. With over 30 years of experience in architecture, Fred has worked on a broad range of project types from High-rise towers to Historic Restoration, and High Tech Laboratories to Hospitals. His skills in the detailing of complex building design have been honed through years working side by side with the best and most demanding architects in practice today. Specialties: Fred's areas of expertise are in the design and technical design fields of Biotech and Laboratory Design; Healthcare; Seismic upgrade and base isolation; Historic restoration and rehabilitation.

Jean-Claude Constandse
Principal
Jean-Claude Constandse is the Business Development & Marketing Principal and a founding partner of CPCArchitects office located in San Diego, California. Educated at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and with over 14 years of experience, Jean-Claude is responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving client relationships. He has developed a wide range of multidisciplinary skills throughout his experience as a licensed Architect with nbbj and LPA. His skill set includes construction administration, management, design, coordination, business development, sales and furniture. Jean-Claude is a natural collaborator, bringing great energy to the development of ideas and processes which enable clients to realize their goals. He is experienced in all phases of the design and delivery of complex projects, and is especially valuable to the team during the construction phase of a project. Jean-Claude’s expertise in the Healthcare, Science, Higher Education, Corporate, and Government sectors will enable him to service new arenas previously unexplored. Jean-Claude is Fluent in English and Spanish and his ability to communicate clearly with all members of a project team enables him to guide projects through to successful completion.
